10 years awarding national scientific research
Organized since 2010, the Fraunhofer Portugal Challenge has been envisioned to encourage cooperation between industry and the scientific community, motivating and rewarding research of practical utility.
In the last 10 years, this idea contest has been awarding students and researchers who best contribute to the philosophy that reinforces the Fraunhofer AICOS’ vision: creating technological solutions with a positive impact on people’s lives, as well as its mission to create Remarkable Technology / Easy to Use.
Along the years, the Fraunhofer Portugal Challenge has received hundreds of applications from Universities across the country, as well as from very different research areas, from Health to Agriculture, including Sensors, Mobile Phones, Human-Centred Design, Artificial Intelligence, among many others.
